Usability/User Interface Engineer
I have been working in the online industry from the moment I moved to Phoenix in 2003, doing freelance design work and offering UI/UX advice to some of the largest companies in the valley. I am currently looking to further my career in the User Experience, User Interface and Front end development field.
My career has a major focus cross browser compatability and responsive web design while using the latest technologies available to help support the largest audience as possible. With my robust user interface and usability experience and extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS, I enjoy being able to jump into any project and figure out how things work.
A few of the major companies that have assisted in furthering my professional career are The University of Phoenix, Virgo Publishing and my current endeavor at ACS/Xerox. Currently I'm working in the custom application development department as the in-house User Experience/User Interface Expert. Working on several large responsive web application projects using the ASP.net 4.0 MVC3/4 framework with some of the applications touching the Microsoft Azure Cloud service. I enjoy being able to walk into work every day of the week, sit down, create and solve problems that have never been solved before.
My personal contract work has been featured in several local magazines around the valley, including 944 Magazine, Nightlife!, Phoenix New Times, and A2Z Magazine. I thoroughly enjoy helping local business thrive in the online world. I have helped several small local shops market their way to success using all of the new and free technologies available.
